Susan Lloyd

Master Gardener Program Assistant

Summary

The Master Gardener program is designed to teach individuals who are passionate about gardening, and enabling them to share university-quality gardening information with the general public. Their Vision Statement is We Learn, We Garden, We Grow Together, and We Teach.

Through their hands-on gardening in Extension gardens and community gardens, they support research by infomation-gathering. They teach the community about those direct experiences through in-person and Zoom classes, home shows, help desks, participating in publications, and now electronic media of newsletters, blogs, and videos.

The Home Horticulture program is the prerequisite series of classes for the Master Gardener Program.
