Summary

Yaritza Ileana (She/Ella) is the program coordinator for the 4-H Youth Development Program in Clark County. Formally, she was a community-based instructor for the program and has taught in many program areas of 4-H including STEAM, Healthy Living, Civic Engagement, Expresive Arts, Cultural Awareness, and Archery.

Yaritza Ileana formerly worked for CCSD and has been an active volunteer for the Latino Youth Leadership Conference (LYLC) since 2013. She enjoys being involved with various community organizations and has a passion for working with youth and the diverse communities in Las Vegas through community service and education.

The University of Nevada Cooperative Extension implemented the 4-H 21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) Program at Valley High School in Las Vegas for its fourth year in 2024-2025. In the 2024-25 school year, 252 students attended the program. The program was offered for 135 days.

During the 2024-25 4-H program year, the Clark County Extension team reached 15,468 youth participants and delivered 6,155 hours of programming. The urban Extension team reached 12,654 youth participants, delivered 5,487 hours of programming, and delivered 421 programs at 113 program sites.
