Heart & Hope Program Coordinator

Summary

As the Heart & Hope program coordinator, she conducts recruitment, screening, and registration of participants; teaches the parent component of the program; assists with curriculum development; collaborates with stakeholders to educate the community about IPV prevention;  promotes the program; and connects program families with community resources. For more than 20 years Julie has implemented community-based education programs for families and youth including Extension 4-H Afterschool and residential camp settings, Girl Scouts Outreach, and the Strengthening Families Program.

Heart & Hope: Building Resilient Families

Heart & Hope provides resources and skills to victims of domestic violence who have left the perpetrator and are building a new life for themselves and their family.
