Request a Free Radon Test Kit be Mailed
During National Radon Action Month

(January 1 - February 28)

Request a Free Kit by Mail (a $5 shipping fee applies):

  1. ONLINE - Request a free short-term radon test kit online, through Eventbrite, paying the $5 shipping fee and $1.27 online processing fee, using American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa cards.
  2. By FILLING OUT a free test kit request form and sending in the paperwork with a $5 check for the shipping fee
    1. Complete the Free Short-term Radon Test Kit Request Form and click on the Submit button. Shortly after submitting, you will receive an email confirmation. Print it out.
    2. Mail the confirmation and a $5 check or money order, payable to "Board of Regents" to:
      Nevada Radon Education Program, 4955 Energy Way, Reno, NV 89502
    3. Allow 3 weeks to process request.

Nevada Radon Education Program

The Nevada Radon Education Program is a partnership with the Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health to educate Nevadans about the health risk posed by elevated levels of radon in the home. The Extension program offers literature, educational presentations and low cost radon test kits in many county Extension and partner offices.
