About the Grow Organic Nevada Program

Desert Farming Initiative leads the GONV Program. We are working with Holley Family Farms to build the program and establish a network of GONV partners across the state.

Our GONV work is part of the West/ Southwest Transition to Organic Partnership Program (TOPP), and it is overseen by the nonprofit organization, California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF).

TOPP is a nationwide collaborative effort created and funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). It is is a program of the USDA Organic Transition Initiative administered by the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service's (AMS) National Organic Program (NOP).

Through partner organizations across the U.S., TOPP supports certified organic farmers and ranchers transitioning to organic certification.
