classroomThe Business Development team creates presentations that are free of charge and contain a range of topics for small business owners and entrepreneurs. These workshops are presented in both English and Spanish and can also be presented as webinars to allow access to the remote parts of our state.

The focus of the workshops are topics including marketing, taxes, customer service, sales and others. By applying knowledge from these sessions, individuals can identify potential problems in their own businesses. The workshops are designed to teach participants of the ins and outs of business concepts so individuals have the knowledge to proceed on their own, and, if necessary, to know where to look for further assistance.

We are actively engaged with local community chambers and entities, such as The Latin Chamber of Commerce, Nevada Small Business Development Center, and Service Corps of Retired Executives. This allows us to direct attendees to further events and opportunities, as well as refer them as clients to small business counselors if they are interested in obtaining one-on-one assistance.
