The Research Center & Demonstration Orchard in North Las Vegas, NV has 544 fruit trees, over 200 grape vines and 12 large vegetable beds as well as 100 palm trees and hops growing. Homeowners can visit the center to see how to grow these and get their home garden, orchard and vineyard questions answered. The Farm Stand operates each business day where produce grown on site is available to the local community. Classes are also offered for care and maintenance of all varieties of fruit trees, table and wine grapes. An apiary is also on site, and the beekeepers offer courses on beekeeping.
