Black Bean Hummus

Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 ounce) low sodium black beans
  • ¼ cup tap water
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon parsley, fresh or chopped
  • 1 tablespoon basil, fresh or chopped
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil

Directions

  1. Rinse beans and drain. Add to food processor and mix, add water and blend till smooth. 
  2. Add salt, pepper, parsley, basil, and blend.
  3. Serve with pita bread, chips, or vegetables.
