Brinkerhoff, K. 2026, Evaluation Template for Extension Master Gardener Educational Program, University of Nevada, Reno, Extension

Helpful template for Master Gardener volunteers to evaluate participants of their educational programs. This evaluation is a vital tool used by the Extension to measure the impact of our courses and improve future educational offerings.

Purpose of the Evaluation
The feedback collected through this form serves several key purposes:

  1. Measuring Impact: We assess how much your knowledge and interest in horticulture topics grew from the beginning of the class to the end.
  2. Practice & Skill Adoption: We track whether participants have learned new horticulture practices or gained practical skills they can apply immediately.
  3. Community Application: Understanding if and how you plan to use this information at home or within your community helps us validate the reach of our program.
  4. Quality Control: Your ratings on program delivery—including visual materials, organization, and instruction—allow us to maintain high educational standards.
