Rutgers University 2025, Herpetology Project Record Book, Rutgers NJAES Cooperative Extension

The purpose of this 4-H record book is to record the various steps in the management, study, and goals of caring for herpetology projects with amphibians and reptiles for the 4-H youth development program in Washoe County.  If your herpetology project is related to breeding, please see our other record book.

In addition, you will be asked to include a detailed inventory of items needed outside of your normal care items for your 4-H animals. These items may include incubators, lay boxes, vermiculite, racks/tubs for hatchlings, etc.

Financial records will be kept to show expenses for products needed to complete the project, profits from sales during the project, and any offspring produced from the project. At the end of the project, a final profit/loss statement will be recorded.

For full details and forms of the project record, use the link below to download the PDF version.
