Summary
Danielle has been with the Extension since 2022. In 2022, Danielle launched the statewide program, The Spiral Up Academy. This 8-week Academy serves early childhood educators working with children birth-5 across the state of Nevada. The Academy supports educators in the following ways:
- Trainers support Academy participants through the Nevada Childcare Licensing-required initial trainings
- Trainers provide 14 additional hours of Nevada Registry approved training on foundational classroom topics such as child development, the importance of play, classroom management, etc.
- Trainers provide up to 5 hours of coaching support to help participants personalize and implement their learning
Danielle also provides Early Childhood Education workforce development training throughout the year, which is open to community participation.
