Mexican-American female equestrian riders preserving the traditional equestrian culture of La Charrería.
The Las Vegas HS/JH Rodeo Team seeks to encourage, develop, and maintain student and parent interest in rodeo and rodeo related activities, while maintaining high academic standards.
Opportunity for 5th–12th graders to compete in rodeo events, build skills in sportsmanship, leadership, and horsemanship.

Station Name: “Farm Market Money” – Counting Money Lesson. Practice identifying and counting money in a farmers market scenario.
Theme: Dairy & STEM — “Mess with your Milk” chemistry activity and curriculum for educators.
Station: Animal Science — eggs and live animal demonstrations (pigs, chickens, goats).

Station: Different Ways Plants Grow — soil bins with magnifying glasses, hydroponics demo, and teacher postcards (October 8th).
Watch live horse grooming and learn how tools and techniques support equine hygiene and well-being.
High school rodeo athletes demonstrate roping technique, timing and coordination using ground dummies.
Guided walk-through of saddles and tack: what each piece does, how it fits, and why proper fit matters.
View labeled models and diagrams to learn goat skeletal, digestive and key body systems.
Observe trimming and shoeing and learn why hoof care is essential to horse health and performance.
