Extension's Nevada Agricultural Risk Management Education Programs help agricultural producers find the assistance they need to mitigate and manage production, price or market; financial; institutional; and human or personal risks.
 

We provide valuable education through conferences, workshops and tours held across the state for small, medium and large producers.  In addition, we provide support for Extension's Cattlemen's Update Program. Empowered by our programs, the use of crop insurance, as well as other tools, producers can make the best risk-management decisions for their agricultural operations.

The Nevada Agricultural Risk Management team uses the latest research to deliver practical knowledge, business management tools and actionable resources that help producers navigate risk and adapt to an increasingly complex food and agricultural system. In 2025, the team implemented 17 high-impact workshops, outreach events and trainings, reaching 976 producers, 283 teachers and chaperones, and 1,663 students. View more in our full report below!
