Nevada Beginning Farmer & Rancher Development Program 2025 Impact

Learn about the impact our BFR program brings to farmers and ranchers across the state of Nevada.

In 2025, 44 Beginning Farmers and Ranchers strengthened skills in business planning, production, and farm management, with nearly half pursuing certification to launch their operations. The cohort included nine veterans (20%). In addition to the 10-week course, 59 participants engaged in the BFR Farm Tour and Farm-to-Fork Dinner. Program participants gained valuable knowledge and skills in the following:
