  1. Houseplant Container Display
    1. Item must feature a snake in some capacity (can be in design or via the name/type of produce grown)

  3. Garden Accessories
    1. Item must feature a snake in some capacity (can be in design or via the name/type of produce grown)
  4. Wildlife Habitat
    1. Item must feature a snake in some capacity (can be in design or via the name/type of produce grown)
  5. Herbs and Vegetables
    1. The vegetable display must include at least five but not more than seven different kinds of vegetables grown in the exhibitor’s garden and will not include flowers, herbs, other ornamental or decorative items, or other plants. More than one variety of any vegetable can be displayed; however, not more than four items of the same vegetable can be displayed. 
    2. All herb specimens should include sprigs with stems of adequate length to reach the water level and that reach at least six inches above the top of the bottle, but not more than twelve inches above the top of the bottle.

    4. The common and scientific name of the plant(s) should be provided
  6. Floral Arrangement
    1. This display will utilize live flowers
    2. Item must feature a snake in some capacity (can be in design or via the name/type of produce grown)

  7. Recycled Item Floral Arrangements
    1. This display will feature flowers made from recycled items
    2. Item must feature a snake in some capacity (can be in design or via the name/type of produce grown)
  8. Home Grounds Improvement
    1. An exhibit that shows learning about landscape plans, selection of landscape plants, ornamental garden features, home yard improvement, storage sheds, careers, etc.
    2. Item must feature a snake in some capacity (can be in design or via the name/type of produce grown)
    3. The common and scientific name of the plant(s) should be provided
  9. Horticulture and Plant Science
    1. An exhibit that shows learning about the growth, use, and value of plants, soils, small fruit production, vegetable and flower gardens, plant nutrition, careers, etc.
    2. Item must feature a snake in some capacity (can be in design or via the name/type of produce grown)
  10. Entomology
    1.  An exhibit that shows learning or is an outgrowth of an entomology or bee project experience. Includes specimen collections and may include products (for example honey) or equipment as part of the display.
    2. Item must feature a snake in some capacity (can be in design or via the name/type of produce grown)
  11. Forestry
    1. An exhibit, including collections, that show learning from participation in a forestry project or program.
    2. Item must feature a snake in some capacity (can be in design or via the name/type of produce grown)
  12. Recycled plant pot/container (no store-bought item)
    1.  An exhibit that allows you to get creative and turn a recycled item, or no longer used for its original purpose item, into a plant container
    2. Item must feature a snake in some capacity (can be in design or via the name/type of produce grown)
  13. Painted snake pot
    1. A 6-inch pot that is painted featuring a snake in the design
    2. Put your favorite snake featured plant in the pot
    3. Item must feature a snake in some capacity (can be in design or via the name/type of produce grown)
    4. The common and scientific name of the plant(s) should be provided
  14. Produce basket
    1. Edible and arranged in an eye-appealing manner. Items must be a basket.
    2. Items must be grown in home garden
    3. Item must feature a snake in some capacity (can be in design or via the name/type of produce grown)
    4. The common and scientific name of the plant(s) should be provided
  15. Seed mosaic
    1. Design a snake themed art piece utilizing at least 5 different plant seeds
    2. Item must feature a snake in some capacity (can be in design or via the name/type of produce grown)
    3. The common and scientific name of the seed(s) should be provided
