What is 4-H?

It's a learn-by-doing life-skills program that empowers young people.

For more than 90 years, Extension has administered a 4-H Program in Nevada. We teach youth communication, self-concept, team-building, problem-solving, decision-making, self-responsibility, conflict resolution, aspiration-building, goal-setting, community leadership and career development.

Welcome to 4-H in Churchill County

Our 4-H Club programming covers several project areas that teach leadership, life skills and citizenship. Typical 4-H age for club members ranges from 9 to 19 years of age; however many of the clubs accept "Cloverbuds," youth ages 5 to 8. Some restrictions apply to Cloverbuds around exhibition and competition.

If you or your children are looking for a quality and fun youth development experience, please contact Karen Bogdanowicz at (775) 423-5121.
