DV Growers Monthly Planning Meeting - March 

The DV Growers 2025 Monthly Planning Meeting on March 12, 2025 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. (MT), at HDC in Owyhee offers a chance to learn about growing your own food, maintaining hoop houses and gardens, and accessing funding sources. Hosted by UNR Extension and Native Programs, this gathering provides resources, expert guidance, and an opportunity to connect with others. Farmers markets, partnering programs, and seasonal planning will also be discussed. Snacks will be provided.

Online Emergency Preparedness and Response Training

The Online Emergency Preparedness and Response Training on March 25-26, 2025, offers Tribal Nations the opportunity to strengthen their response to animal and plant health emergencies. Hosted by the USDA APHIS in collaboration with Native American agriculture and natural resource organizations, this free virtual training will provide technical assistance in developing emergency response plans, identifying response resources, and coordinating logistics. Participants will also gain insight into APHIS programs, current pest and disease threats, and funding opportunities.
