The University of Nevada, Reno Extension, in collaboration with the USDA Risk Management Agency (RMA), welcomes you to Roots 2 Results: Cultivating Farm & Food Systems – Northern Nevada. This multi-day gathering brings together growers, agricultural professionals, food system advocates, and community members to strengthen Nevada’s agricultural landscape through shared learning, innovative ideas, and practical, hands-on insights tailored to the needs of Northern Nevada.

What to Expect

This conference offers a rich blend of educational sessions, expert-led discussions, and opportunities for meaningful connection among producers and partners. Attendees will explore strategies for enhancing resilience, improving farm and food business operations, and navigating the unique production challenges of Northern Nevada’s climates and communities. With a focus on real-world tools and collaborative learning, the event equips participants with knowledge they can immediately apply on their farms, in their businesses, or within their organizations.

Nevada Tribal Food and Agriculture Summit

The Nevada Tribal Food and Agriculture Summit will also take place during the conference, providing dedicated space for Tribal producers, leaders, and partners to engage in focused discussions and share perspectives on food sovereignty, land stewardship, and agricultural opportunity throughout Nevada’s Tribal communities.
