4-H Mindfulness uses the Mindful Mechanics and GEM: Get Experience in Mindfulness curriculum to educate youth on the importance of being present, improving awareness, identifying stressors and effective strategies for coping. Participants are also encouraged to build positive relationships through expressing care, concern and gratitude for others, and practicing self-discipline, control and reflection.
Simple Snacks was designed to teach youth the importance of nutritious foods, basic kitchen skills and safety, and how to create lasting healthy habits both in and out of the kitchen.
Life Skills is a fun, hands-on program designed for youth ages 11-13 or 14-18 to build confidence and gain practical skills they can use every day - at home, at school and in their future. This engaging program helps teens develop important life skills through activities, group discussions and real-world practice. Each session focuses on a different topic that supports healthy habits, independence and personal growth.
