Wild Game Processing Workshop
The Game Processing Workshop 2025, hosted by the University of Nevada, Reno Extension in collaboration with the Nevada Department of Wildlife, will take place on Friday, May 2, and Saturday, May 3, 2025, at the Main Station Farm Science Building in Reno, NV. This hands-on workshop provides Nevada hunters with essential skills in game harvesting, field dressing, skinning, caping, quartering, and packaging. Participants will learn about shot placement, equipment safety, carcass anatomy, and proper meat storage. The workshop runs from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. on May 2 and 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on May 3, with a registration fee of $125 per person.
