Courtroom Critters

Courtroom Critters offers elite therapy dog teams in your time of need.  We do not charge a fee.  We are all volunteers. We specialize in victims, survivors, and witnesses of traumatic crime. We work with the Vegas Strong Resiliency Center, lawyers, police, domestic violence shelters, and other community resources. If you need a therapy dog to help you with anxiety during court, you can count on Courtroom Critters.

ITCN provides resources and assistance to Native American families experiencing family violence in the urban and rural Nevada Communities.

Kid's Court School

The mission of the Kids' Court School is to educate children and youth about the investigative and judicial processes, utilizing a standardized, evidence-based curriculum in order to maintain the integrity of the legal process; to conduct ongoing research aimed at minimizing the potentially traumatic effects of the courtroom on children; and to serve as a training program regarding best practices for educating children and youth about judicial process.

Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada

Legal Aid Center is a nonprofit law firm dedicated to providing direct legal representation, counsel, advice, and community legal education to those who can't afford an attorney. We have a wide variety of programs to help victims of domestic violence and crime, victims of consumer fraud, and children in the foster care system.

L.I.M.A. Diversion Program

L.I.M.A. (Law Enforcement Intervention for Mental Health & Addiction) is a partnership with 8th District Court and LVMPD. L.I.M.A. provides a voluntary opportunity to give a pathway to recovery for individuals suffering from substance use issues, mental health issues, and homelessness.

Nevada Office of the Attorney General

The office of the Nevada Attorney General is governed by Nevada Revised Statute (NRS) 228. This statute lays out our office organization as well as the authority our office maintains to prosecute certain crimes.
