This video goes step by step through the process of deciding where and how to plant a pollinator garden, including planting resources and design ideas. Nevada has a diverse set of very important pollinating insects, including bees, butterflies, flies, and wasps. These insects pollinate many of our crops and wildflowers and can also control common garden and farm insect pests. These animals depend on the nectar and pollen from plants to survive and reproduce. Many insect populations are under multiple threats, and adding native plants is a great way to help protect local pollinator populations.
