4-H in Pershing County is a fun opportunity to get hands-on experience in many different areas of interest. Our 4-H clubs cover several project areas that teach many different life skills, including leadership skills, independence and dedication.
4-H age for club members ranges from 9 to 19 years of age; however, many of the clubs accept Cloverbuds, youth ages 5 to 8. Some restrictions apply to Cloverbuds around exhibition and competition.
Below are the current clubs offered to Pershing County youth:

We currently have a very intuitive group of leaders whose hands-on experience for most includes making a living or supplementing their finances in what they are teaching the 4-H youth. Looking into the future, we desire to grow our afterschool programs as well as our 4-H Community Club’s activities, to possibly include projects with animal science, art (possibly painting/drawing), career technology (carpentry, auto, welding), dance, entrepreneurship, robotics, leather working, music, STEM, and much more.
