Interested in Presenting?

The Conference Committee is seeking hands-on workshops, research sessions, poster proposals, and participants to lead panel discussions.

The Conference will focus on funding resources available for farms and gardens run by individuals, community organizations, schools, non-profits, and other entities. It will also include information regarding food system issues as well as resources for expansion of and access to regional and local food systems. The Conference seeks also to highlight topics related to on-farm guidance and innovation like conservation programs and grants, beginning farmer development programs, and protecting your farm and crops from natural disaster. Assistance in marketing and selling farm and value-added products through grants and loans will also be addressed. Finally, the Conference aims to introduce programs to encourage under-served and/or tribal youth participation in agriculture. New and veteran farmers, local chefs, local restaurant owners, master gardeners, farmers market managers, food banks and other urban ag. stakeholders are encouraged to attend.

Individuals and teams with information and background that align with the topics to be presented are encouraged to submit proposals. We ask that presentations be interactive and engaging for the conference participants and that they provide useful and practicable information.
