The Lincoln County high desert is unique, and our community garden is designed to show you exactly what our local climate and soils have to offer.
The Caliente Community Garden serves as a county-wide learning hub and demonstration site for sustainable, high-desert agriculture. We grow food for senior citizens and community members in need, demonstrating self-sufficiency and fostering local cottage industry by supporting the Caliente Farmer's Market.
Located right by the Extension office in Caliente, this collaborative project is managed by Kathy LeFevre, Manager and Bonnie Smith, Volunteer Coordinator, alongside dedicated volunteers Linda Hooper, Randy, and Jim LeFevre.
