4-H Healthy Living Coordinator

Summary

As our Healthy Living Coordinator, Jillian will develop, plan, and facilitate the education of healthy living curricula to Clark County youth through the 4-H youth development program. Some aspects of this program will include social emotional wellness, mental health, physical activity, as well as nutrition.  In her early college years, she was a UNR, Extension student-intern with the 4-H program where she was teaching various STEAM classes in schools, libraries, schools, and summer camps. She went on to complete her Communications/Psychology bachelor's degree at Nevada State College. Jillian grew up in Las Vegas and was a part of the 4-H community throughout her childhood which gave her a deep appreciation for all that is has to offer in terms of youth development and education. She is passionate about health and wellness and with this position she will have the opportunity to spread her knowledge to youth across the Las Vegas valley.
